The dance teacher/choreographer is Serge Koffi. He was born in Toumodi (Ivory Coast) in Africa and is currently based in Utrecht (The Netherlands). His dance styles are Afro dance, traditional African dance and Afro-Contemporary. Characteristic of his work is power, creativity, energy, humor and flow.
Dancing for me is a dynamic and authentic force that comes from inside; it simply puts my body in motion. Dancing is my external expression of my internal world.
I dance to express this dynamic that is inside me. Feelings of joy, positivity and respect are very important to me and I use them to make my own contribution to the change the world. That is why my slogan is: Sharing-Energy-Positivity. —Serge
